Experienced Motor Claims Handler

We are currently hiring for an experienced customer Claims Handler role to join our team based in Dublin. The role is a full time position and can be office based or with hybrid flexibility following a training and probationary period. Training takes place in our Dublin office.

We are looking for individuals with a minimum APA/CIP qualification and/or prior claims handling experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• You will spend most of your time reviewing and assessing claims.
• Having high levels of empathy and understanding for our customers and claimants.
• Taking claim notifications over the phone, investigating claims, providing updates on claims, and working with customers and service providers to progress claims towards settlement.
• Managing customer interactions in an efficient, courteous, and timely manner to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
• Working proactively with service providers to ensure fair and efficient investigation and evaluation of liability and damage and agreeing appropriate repair, replacement, or reimbursement.
• Supporting more experienced colleagues in the handling of complex cases.
• Delivering the highest standards of quality to continuously improve.

Requirements

• 1 year+ experience in motor claims handling negotiation and settlement.
• Minimum APA qualification or working to obtain CIP in the near future.
• Confident, enthusiastic, and professional phone manner.
• Ability to communicate with customers over the phone and multitask.
• Ability to work independently on assigned portfolio to achieve team performance targets.
• Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel and Microsoft Office packages desirable but not required.
