Are you an experienced GP Receptionist or Medical Administrator looking for flexible locum work across Manchester?

Service Care Solutions is recruiting experienced GP Receptionists/Administrators to support a range of GP practices and primary care services across Manchester. Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors in a professional, friendly manner.
  • Book appointments and manage incoming telephone enquiries.
  • Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Process repeat prescription requests and communicate test results.
  • Handle payments for private services where required.
  • Liaise with GPs, clinicians and external healthcare providers.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a GP Receptionist or Medical Administrator within a GP Practice or Primary Care setting.
  • Experience using EMIS Web (essential).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Confident managing appointments, patient records and telephone enquiries.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
  • Immediate availability is desirable.
