Role:
The Expanded Access Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of assigned programs from award through to close-out, ensuring all client expectations are met or exceeded. Acting as the primary point of contact for pharmaceutical and biotech partners, you will lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage Expanded Access and exclusive distribution programs in line with global regulatory and GDP requirements.
You will oversee all aspects of program operations, including contract management, onboarding of clients and products, process development, vendor oversight, performance tracking, and client reporting. This role requires strong leadership, strategic insight into drug development lifecycles, and the ability to identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts. You will be accountable for delivering key performance indicators, maintaining compliance, and ensuring a best-in-class service for patients, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire program lifecycle from award to close-out.
- Ensure success of the program in accordance with client expectations.
- Act as the primary contact for clients regarding their Exclusive Access Programs and oversee program delivery.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Uniphar Group for program design, implementation, and delivery.
- Secure all necessary contracts and agreements upon program award.
- Be accountable for program deliverables and KPIs.
- Onboard clients, manufacturers, and products within Uniphar Group.
- Advocate for clients within Uniphar to ensure top-tier service.
- Collaborate with regulatory, supply chain, quality, and technical teams to meet client requirements.
- Design and implement program-specific processes, ensuring adherence.
- Manage third-party vendors responsible for service delivery.
- Maintain communication with clients as per the communication plan.
- Manage scope changes and assess contractual and operational implications.
- Ensure timely program reporting as per client requirements.
- Achieve KPIs, including budget targets and relationship development goals.
- Understand client plans to anticipate and manage program transitions.
- Identify opportunities for new business development within existing clients.
- Follow GDP SOPs as instructed.
