Executive Officer - Hybrid £22.21 per hour 6-Month Temp Central London
An international intergovernmental organisation at the heart of global cooperation is seeking a highly capable Executive Officer to support the Deputy Secretary-General's Office.
This is a hybrid role based in Central London, starting immediately for an initial 6-month contract. You'll be working 2-3 days onsite per week and earning £22.21 per hour (PAYE).
The Opportunity As Executive Officer, you'll be the strategic linchpin of the Deputy Secretary-General's portfolio-driving operational excellence and policy coordination behind the scenes. From managing cross-divisional communications to reviewing critical documents, your ability to cut through complexity and keep priorities on track will be key.
Your Core Responsibilities

Your Core Responsibilities
- Provide mission and travel planning support
- Prioritise and assess internal requests across the DSG's divisions
- Draft clear, concise briefing notes and review speeches and talking points
- Ensure high standards of quality, coherence and alignment across communications
- Support organisational reforms and transformation initiatives
- Lead background research and coordinate internal governance meetings
- Maintain briefing packs, schedules and accurate documentation
- Proven experience supporting senior leadership in fast-paced environments
- A degree in business administration, social sciences or similar
- Sharp research and writing skills
- Familiarity with international or public-sector organisations
- Discretion, diplomacy, and strong interpersonal judgement
- An ability to stay calm under pressure and keep multiple plates spinning
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
