Working Days/Hours: 37 hours: Monday - Friday

Brook Street, in partnership with the Home Office, has a fantastic opportunity to join their AMLO team.
This is a demanding and challenging hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, but it offers a wide range of development opportunities.

We are looking for staff who can provide day-to-day support and advice to customers across the UK to prepare them for move-on from Asylum Support.
This role involves flexible deployment, working directly with customers face-to-face and virtually, resolving blockers through escalations, and collaborating closely with the HEO AMLO Team and operational leads.

You will work a hybrid approach, including on-site travel to Home Office accommodation locations and attendance at your local regional office.

Experience Needed/Desired:

  • You will have a passion for delivery, be solution-focused, and resilient to challenges.
  • Experience of working under pressure and balancing priorities to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage varied workloads, prioritize effectively, and react calmly to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads and maintain trackers, with flexibility to cover other regional areas as required.
  • Retrieve and direct data to HEO Team leads for logistical planning.
  • Respond to emails promptly and appropriately.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to relevant teams and external contacts.
  • Communicate with customers via phone (using translation services if needed).
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrate civil service values and standards.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to customers and stakeholders on-site.
  • Respond to safeguarding, police, or security incidents as needed.
  • Perform additional duties based on demand and priorities.
  • Record keeping on Excel and other IT systems.

Training:
This physically demanding operational role requires completion of Level 2 personal safety training, which is mandatory. Failure to complete this training will prevent role assignment.

Clearance Level (to be processed upon successful application):

  • Basic DBS + CTC (Counter Terrorism Clearance)

Role-specific requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are essential due to deployment needs.
  • A valid passport and residence in the UK for over 5 years are required. Periods of 6 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years are not accepted.

Brook Street supports the Armed Forces Covenant and guarantees interviews for veterans and military spouses/partners meeting all essential criteria. We are also a Disability Confident Leader and hold the Gold Award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. Candidates with disabilities or military backgrounds are encouraged to register interest via our website. When high volumes of military candidates meet criteria, the best are selected for interviews.
