As an Executive Cost Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering complex projects, taking ownership of cost and commercial activities from pre-contract through to completion. You'll work closely with senior clients, Project Managers and specialist consultants, while gaining exposure to a diverse range of sectors and challenging projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Manage procurement, tendering and contract processes, including NEC 3/4
• Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets, forecasts and detailed cost reports
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, risks, changes and contingencies
• Manage valuations, compensation events, claims and final accounts
• Analyse design changes, benchmarking and market costs to identify value opportunities
• Provide proactive cost and commercial advice to clients
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and act as a key project contact
• Manage multiple projects, budgets and resources
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to business development, recruitment and wider G&T initiatives

WHAT OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR

• Degree qualified, preferably in Quantity Surveying, Construction or a related discipline
• MRICS preferred, but not essential
• Strong pre- and post-contract experience
• Experience on high-value built environment projects
• Consultancy experience strongly desirable
• Background in sectors such as commercial, residential, office, fit-out, healthcare, education or industrial
• Strong cost planning, estimating, procurement and cost management skills
• Knowledge of NEC 3/4 contracts
• Excellent client-facing, communication and leadership skills
