Executive Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract - Maternity Cover)
Location: Bristol (with some flexibility for home working)
Salary: £33,009 - £36,011 per annum
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract until February 2027 (or upon the return of the substantive postholder)
Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to provide professional, confidential, and high-quality support to a senior leadership team within a large and respected organisation.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding role where you will play a key part in supporting senior leaders, managing priorities, coordinating activities, and ensuring the smooth running of executive operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and executive support to senior leaders.
- Manage complex diaries, meetings, and schedules.
- Coordinate priorities and respond to changing business needs.
- Prepare documentation, correspondence, and reports.
- Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Support the delivery of strategic objectives through proactive administrative support.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrative support role.
- Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills.
- Experience managing complex diaries and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and use sound judgement.
- Experience handling confidential information.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams.
- Experience minute-taking and coordinating board or leadership meetings.
