Join Our Team

We are seeking to appoint an organised, efficient and highly reliable Examinations Officer to join our school community. This is a key role responsible for the administration, organisation, and smooth running of all internal and external examinations.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, students, parents, and examination boards to ensure that all examinations are conducted in accordance with JCQ regulations and awarding body requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the administration of all internal and external examinations.
  • Register candidates and maintain accurate examination records.
  • Liaise with examination boards and ensure compliance with JCQ regulations.
  • Organise examination timetables, rooms, and invigilators.
  • Distribute examination materials securely and efficiently.
  • Support students and staff with examination-related enquiries.
  • Process results, post-results services, and certification.

  • Has excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Has strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Can work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality.
  • Has good IT and communication skills.
  • Has experience of examination administration (desirable but not essential).

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
