THE ROLE_

Grand Visual is seeking a talented freelance Technician to join our London team on an ad-hoc project basis, supporting the delivery of interactive Digital Out of Home (DOOH) projects. This role sits within our Creative Technology department, to ensure the successful delivery of interactive experiences.

A DAY IN THE LIFE_

You'll be responsible for helping to execute and deliver interactive projects, showing attention along the way. During project installs, you may be required to be on site, using your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise - sometimes under tight time constraints. Once projects are live, you'll provide ongoing support, remotely accessing systems to diagnose and fix both hardware and software problems, ensuring seamless experiences for end users.

• Develop and execute robust test plans to ensure stability and security
• Participate in on-site project installs, troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Provide live support and remote troubleshooting for hardware and software
• Collaborate with creative and technical teams throughout the production process
• Assist in setting up and securing computers ready for install in the field
• Support organisation and management of hardware storeroom
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of interactive technologies and techniques
• Comfort in working across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments
