About the role As a key member of our visitor-facing team, you'll help design, deliver and promote a wide range of events, activities and visitor experiences. From family-friendly seasonal activities to supporting large park events and frontline customer service positions and welcoming customers to our campsite no two days are the same.You'll use your creativity to bring our parks to life-dressing and stocking visitor centres, generating engaging social media content, and developing fresh ideas that inspire people to visit and return. You'll also welcome, meet and greet our customers on our park and ensure their day and experience is one that they wont ever forget. You won't be afraid to get stuck in with all aspects of our visitor facing customer service roles and will quickly become an expert in everything the park as to offer.This is a hands on, varied role perfect for someone who thrives in a busy customer focused environment and enjoys working outdoors. What you'll be doing Events & Activities Support the planning and delivery of an exciting calendar of park events Lead small-scale activities, especially weekends and school holidays Assist with large events Report on visitor participation and activity performance Marketing & Promotion Create engaging social media content and respond to customer enquiries Use upselling techniques to promote park activities and offers Dress and theme visitor centres and cafés to enhance seasonal appeal Visitor Services & Customer Care Deliver exceptional customer service across all park touchpoints Provide support on tills, car park systems, and general enquiries Upsell products, activities and catering options Meeting Room & Venue Support Coordinate meeting and conference bookings Provide a warm welcome to delegates and ensure smooth on site delivery Liaise with catering teams to meet bespoke requirements General Administration Manage emails, bookings, systems and park technology Support internal processes and assist park teams where needed What we're looking for Essential: Excellent customer service skills Strong organisation and communication abilities Proactive, solutions focused mindset Confident using MS Windows and digital systems Full driving licence Desirable: Experience supporting events or activities Social media content creation experience First Aid certificate Creative flair and passion for outdoor recreationWorking at AVH Parks means joining a welcoming, passionate team dedicated to providing outstanding visitor experiences.
