Event Host and Marshal- Group Session

Host / Marshal Role

We are recruiting for a split customer facing role as Host and Marshal.

Responsibilities

• Host responsibilities: greeting and registering drivers; conducting group briefings; commentating on races and waving flags; giving race improving tips; refuelling customers with food and drink from the snack bar; meeting team sales targets; upselling merchandise, offers, events and memberships; ensuring events are hassle free; contributing to sales and mystery visit targets.
• Marshal responsibilities: checking karts comply with strict health and safety guidelines at shift start; test driving karts for mechanics; helping customers into karts and with their race suits and helmets; checking the grid before the start of a race; marshalling events; waving flags to keep customers safe; assisting those who spin off back into the action.

Shift Availability

Shifts are available Monday to Sunday, including weekends and evenings. Contract options are 4, 12, 20 or 30 hours per week. Flexibility, and weekend or evening work, are essential for this role.
