Salary: Circa £26,000 per annum
Location: Fully Remote (with occasional travel to events and overnight stays across the North of England and Southern Scotland
Contract: Full-time (would consider part-time for the right candidate)
Reports to: Bionow Events Manager

Role Overview
As Bionow Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning and delivering our annual events programme, working closely with the Events Manager to ensure events run smoothly and professionally. From liaising with venues and speakers to managing delegate communication and on-site logistics, you'll help ensure every Bionow event meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Events Manager in planning, promoting and delivering the Bionow annual events calendar, including conferences, awards ceremonies, networking sessions and webinars.
Liaise with venues and suppliers to arrange event logistics such as dates, catering, AV and signage.
Coordinate event communications: invitations, email campaigns, website listings, and social media promotion.
Manage relationships with speakers, exhibitors and delegates including sending communications and preparing briefing materials.
Provide on-site operational support during events, including set-up, registration desk, and liaising with speakers and exhibitors on the day.
Gather and analyse delegate feedback via post-event surveys.
Support development of new events and partnership opportunities.
Manage the events and info email inboxes, responding promptly to queries.
Upload and maintain event content on the Bionow website.
Provide general administrative support to the wider Bionow team as needed.
Person Specification
Essential:
2+ years' experience in an events coordination or events support role
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple priorities independently
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience using online platforms such as Zoom and event registration software
Confident with Microsoft Office and content management systems
Willingness to travel occasionally within the North of England and Southern Scotland
Desirable:
Experience in the scientific/life sciences or non-profit/membership sectors
Knowledge of basic graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
Familiarity with CRM systems and data handling
Knowledge of venues and suppliers in the North of England
Qualification in events management
