European Service Support Specialist Healthcare IT
Are you a service-minded professional with a passion for technology and healthcare? At Canon Medical Systems Europe, based in Amstelveen, we are looking for a European Service Support Specialist Healthcare IT to provide expert support and guidance to our Group Companies (CGCs) and partners across Europe. In this role, you'll play a key part in implementing our Healthcare IT (HIT) solutions, resolving complex technical issues, and enhancing the knowledge and capabilities of local service teams by providing trainings.
What will you do?
- Provide 2nd-level technical service support for our Healthcare IT installed base across Europe.
- Act as a key contributor to implementation and upgrade projects for HIT solutions.
- Develop action plans to resolve technical issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Develop and deliver technical training to ensure up-to-date knowledge is effectively shared across teams, empowering CGC's to install and maintain our products with confidence.
- Identify and report trends, recurring problems, and field insights to the central team.
- Travel to customer locations when required to assist with complex technical challenges.
What do you bring?
- A Bachelor's degree (HBO-level), trained in a technical field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical support or service-related function.
- Strong technical knowledge and a solid background in the Healthcare IT industry.
- Experience with IIS, RDS, AD, GP, AWS, Azure, DICOM, HL7, PACS, RIS, Cybersecurity, AI literacy.
- Experienced or certified in Microsoft and Linux Enterprise related products tools and features (Windows Server OS, RHEL, SQL, IIS,).
- Knowledge or expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages (such as Dutch, French, or German) is an asset.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to travel within Europe when needed.
- Ideally living in the Netherlands, close by Amstelveen.
