The Role - European Field Service Engineer, Scientific InstrumentationThis market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused European Field Service Engineer responsible for:
- Service, installation, repair, and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated scientific instrumentation used within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
- Providing support at customer sites.
- Travel across Europe (approximately 30%), typically once a month for four days (Monday to Thursday).
- Travel across the UK as well.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:
- A background in customer-facing field service engineering within high-value capital equipment environments.
- Applications are encouraged from engineers with diverse backgrounds, including laboratory devices, medical devices, pharmaceutical devices, ex-forces (medical & dental, weapons systems, radar), and other electronic or electro-mechanical sectors.
- A qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject at minimum ONC level.
- Full training will be provided for engineers from various sectors.
