Europe employment Counsel

We are looking for an Employment Counsel to join our team based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Your role will be to support pan-Europe employment law related matters including:

• Drafting templates and advising on particular matters through the entire employment lifecycle
• Supporting the overall transaction lifecycle including negotiation planning and conduct of negotiations with clients
• Acquired Rights Directive matters.
• Advising on labour law related matters.
• Training relevant internal stakeholders on best practices and modifications of employment law
• Compensation and benefits policy review and HR policy review.
• Advising on employment related disputes, including litigation.
• Managing outside counsels

This role is dynamic, and you must be adaptable to working in a fast paced and multicultural environment. Since the role carries pan-Europe responsibility ability to interact across cultures and geographies is a key requirement.

Qualifications

You must be qualified to practice law in any of the EU jurisdictions with at least 8+ years of PQE as a practicing lawyer or an in-house employment counsel with a global organization. In addition to English, proficiency in one or more European languages will be added advantage. Specialty and experience in ARD/TUPE matters in relation to IT outsourcing deals is needed for this role.
