Estimator

£75,000 - £90,000 basic + Bonuses (£5,000 on top) + Managing teams + Opportunity for Hybrid working (2 days WFH 3 days in office) + Car Allowance (£6,000) + Company car + Immediate start!

Work for a growing Civil engineering contractor as an Estimator. You will work closely with the bid manager building the estimating department and becoming an expert in your field. Tender for prestigious infrastructure and renewable projects and have the opportunity to potentially earn £90,000 as a starting salary.

This established contractor specialises in civil engineering for the past few decades. They have established partnerships with top tier 1 contractors across the UK and are looking to grow their estimating department with the help of a well rounded Estimator. You will have a strong background in civils and an eye for detail and numbers. This will be used to create tenders and win bids helping to continuously grow the business and achieve their goals. If you are someone that wants to manage their own team as well as maximise your earning potential, then this is the role for you!

Your role as an Estimator will include:

• Work with the Bid Manager on all estimating and tendering tasks, with occasional site visits
• Meet clients and teams regularly to discuss projects and tender updates
• Reviewing technical drawings

The successful Estimator will need:

• Experience in civil engineering
• Experience as an Estimator or similar
• Commutable to or living in Inverness area
• Willing to be office based 2-3 days a week
