Estates Maintenance Worker

Our Building Services team is looking for an Estates Maintenance Worker to join the team on a project in London.
What you'll do- Deliver general handyperson PPMs and reactive maintenance across the estate, including painting, plaster repairs, tiling, flooring patches and minor carpentry.
- Install and repair fixtures and fittings: shelving, noticeboards, blinds, door handles/locks (non-fire), minor window/frame repairs and storage solutions.
- Carry out basic plumbing and drainage work (tap/pipe repairs, clogged drains, blocked toilets) and routine water hygiene checks including TMV and weekly checks.
- Undertake safe working-at-height tasks: erect/strike mobile towers, operate MEWPs and scaffolding for gutter cleaning and high-level repairs.
- Support seasonal and emergency duties (gritting, out-of-hours call outs), assist with semi-skilled tasks as directed, and help with project or extra PPM work to engineering standards.
- Maintain accurate records using mobile apps/CAFM, follow HASWA and SHEQ procedures, and communicate issues promptly to supervisors and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in building fabric maintenance or a relevant qualification that meets the job criteria.
- Practical knowledge of PPMs, reactive SLAs and basic plumbing, carpentry and minor electrical tasks.
- Competence with MEWPs, mobile towers and safe working-at-height methods (training/certificates desirable).
- Flexible, proactive approach with the ability to work unsupervised, manage workload, and respond to changing priorities.
- Good IT skills to update CAFM and mobile records, strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.
Working location and hours London - working hours and on call arrangements as required by the contract.
