Key Responsibilities

As part of the team. You will be responsible for the presentation and maintenance of the York campus. Keeping the campus tidy, attractive, well-presented and safe throughout the year is the main priority. Tasks will include: beds & border maintenance, mowing, edging and strimming, tree safety and maintenance, preparing sports facilities, hedge trimming, building and repairing fences, footpath and road maintenance, machinery maintenance, safety and risk assessment. But most of all - be creative enjoy what you do.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).

Askham Bryan College is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield and Gateshead.
