Southern Housing is looking for a dedicated and reliable Estate Services Cleaner to join our team on an 8-week fixed-term contract. 21 hours per week Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM

About the Role

Southern Housing is looking for a dedicated and reliable Estate Services Cleaner to join our team on an 8-week fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our estates while demonstrating our HEART values: Honest, Efficient, Accountable, Respectful, and Trustworthy.

Key Responsibilities

• Water plants, flower beds, and grassed areas to maintain attractive outdoor spaces.
• Carry out general estate cleaning and upkeep of external areas.
• Use jet wash equipment when required to clean hard surfaces and communal areas.
• Keep bin stores clean, tidy, and well organised.
• Maintain car parking areas to a high standard.
• Ensure bicycle storage rooms are clean, safe, and orderly.
• Report any health and safety concerns, damages, or maintenance issues.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and safe working practices.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in cleaning, estate services, grounds maintenance, or a similar role is desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely, including jet washing equipment.
