Job Purpose

As we continue to expand our market share in the rapidly emerging Employee Experience platform category, we are looking for an ESG Associate to support the delivery of our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. This role will play a key role in collecting, analysing, and reporting ESG data to help us meet our Net Zero and ESG goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and maintain ESG-related data (e.g., energy, water, waste, carbon).
  • Collaborate on ESG data management, including identifying data types, sources, and systems for reporting and disclosures.
  • Support the preparation of internal and external ESG reports and dashboards, including Unily's annual Impact Report.
  • Assist in tracking progress against Net Zero and CSR targets.
  • Monitor emerging ESG regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in completing RFP responses related to our sustainability approach
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., People, Legal, Finance) to gather data and support ESG initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of ESG-related policies and initiatives across departments.
  • Help coordinate ESG audits, assessments, and accreditations (e.g., EcoVadis, ISO14001).
  • Coordinate with third-party consultants and internal stakeholders on ESG assessments and disclosures.
  • Maintain documentation and support the governance of ESG processes.
  • Prepare internal communications to highlight sustainability initiatives and promote best practices.
  • Contribute to case studies, training materials, and internal communications.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Understanding of sustainability frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, SBTi, ISO14001).
  • Interest in the evolving ESG reporting landscape and disclosure frameworks.
  • Degree or qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Excel; and the ability to translate data for non-experts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to prioritise and work independently.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across departments.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, flexibility, and initiative in a fast-paced environment.
