Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced escalator call-out and repair engineer to join our Transport for London team, covering our London Underground escalator portfolio.
• Your priority is to ensure passenger and stakeholder safety by maintaining escalator units.

Typical Daily Tasks

• Perform breakdown and repair work to ensure continuous operation
• Manage escalator portfolio within the London Underground network
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, aiming for first-time fixes
• Communicate effectively with customers on-site

Qualifications & Skills

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or higher, with significant service and maintenance experience
• In-depth knowledge of various escalator brands
• Valid UK driver's license
• Flexibility for overtime
• Mechanical and electrical engineering skills
• Safety-conscious professional
• Good communication skills
• Adaptable, curious, able to work independently or in teams
• Proficient with electronic/digital tools
