Responsibilities
- Assess building regulation applications and conduct site inspections
- Support safe, sustainable, and compliant developments across Erewash, Broxtowe, Mansfield, and Ashfield
- Assist with demolition licensing and dangerous structures response
- Mentor Assistant Building Control Officers and support professional development
- Participate in out-of-hours emergency standby rotations
Qualifications:
- Degree in Building Surveying or HNC/HND in construction with experience as a qualified Building Surveyor
- Membership or working towards membership of CABE, CIOB, or RICS
- Willingness to achieve LABC Level 6 Competency
- Understanding of the Building Act 1984 and Building Regulations
- Collaborative mindset and commitment to high service standards
