Take ownership of a client vertical for a leading index provider, building senior relationships with pension schemes, sovereign funds, insurers and other institutional investors, and shaping the future of a fast-growing product suite.

A globally recognised financial data and analytics business with a well-established index franchise covering multiple asset classes. The indices are known for rigorous, transparent methodology and are used extensively across the industry for portfolio construction, benchmarking and bespoke index solutions.

What you'll do

• Take commercial ownership of a defined institutional client segment, including pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and insurers
• Develop senior relationships with decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor on index construction and product development
• Identify and convert new business opportunities while deepening penetration across existing strategic accounts
• Represent the business at client meetings, pitches and internal training sessions
• Manage deals end-to-end, from initial conversation through to commercial negotiation and sign-off
• Partner with internal product and engineering teams to feed client insight back into the roadmap
• Travel regularly to build and maintain a strong regional client network

What you'll bring

• A strong track record selling into, or working alongside, institutional/asset owner clients
• Prior experience in indices, benchmarks or financial data
• A commercially sharp, target-driven approach to new business development
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, including public speaking
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving commercial environment

Desirable

• Fluency in an additional European language
