Project Overview

At the CWA (Civil Works Alliance), we are shaping the future of energy by supporting the construction of Sizewell C, a 3.2-gigawatt power station that will provide low-carbon electricity to about 6 million homes. Join us in this pivotal role to advance sustainability and compliance standards.

Role Summary

We are seeking an Environment and Sustainability Reporting Manager to join our ESG team. This role involves:

  1. Implementing ESG Compliance Strategies: Supporting the development of ESG strategies aligned with legal, company, and regulatory standards.
  2. Driving Continuous Improvement: Conducting internal audits and leveraging data to enhance sustainability practices across the project.
  3. Promoting ESG Engagement: Developing recognition and incentive schemes to foster ESG participation and cultivating an ESG-focused culture.
  4. Building Relationships: Communicating effectively with stakeholders and collaborating with the ESG Leadership Team for training and competence development.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in the Civils/Utilities industry within ESG or Environmental/Sustainability compliance roles.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence ESG initiatives.
  • Experience with ISO 14001 and a good understanding of the construction sector.
  • Key qualities such as humility, positivity, respect, solidarity, and clarity.
