Environment & Energy Specialist

Mission:

To define and implement actions to ensure the continuous improvement, in compliance with relevant legislation and corporate requirements of the environmental performances (Carbon Footprint, Circular Economy and Water, Waste and Air emission management) and Energy Management in the plant (energy efficiency and projects value proposition).

Main Functions:

• Look for and introduce innovative methods, practices and technical solutions for Energy efficiency and to reduce environmental impacts.
• Monitor and analyse performances and related costs, generating the Environmental Report and the Energy Review.
• Identify the applicable legislation and define actions to ensure compliance.
• Share information about environment and energy requirements to ensure accountability throughout the organization.
• Deploy E2MS at local level.
• Fulfil the environmental incident management process and supporting the risk management process and compliance/auditing activities.
• Support the implementation of methods and tools in the plant to ensure continuous improvement activities in E2MS.
• Collect data and information to contribute to reporting activities.
• Seek for and introduces innovative methods, practices and technical solutions to reduce environmental impacts.

Qualifications:

• Engineering Degree.
• Courses/Certificates in Environmental Management are desired.
• At least 2 years in Environmental Management in Industrial plants, implementing systems, projects and reporting.
• Knowledge of ISO regulations (140001, 50001).
• Knowledge of SDR, DAE and DARI. SCRAP is desired.
• Analysis and Reporting Skills (Excel).
• Fluency in English.
