Job Summary:

Our client, a leading global Legal services firm operating worldwide, is seeking a strategic Enterprise Architect to lead their core infrastructure vision. This is a leadership role focused on strategy, roadmaps, and governance. you'll define the strategic direction for networks, Servers, storage, and cloud platforms while working closely with business leaders and fee earners to align technology with regulatory requirements and client needs. The ideal candidate combines deep enterprise architecture expertise within a highly regulated sector and exceptional stakeholder influence skills. This role chairs architecture governance forums, mentors architects, and shapes infrastructure investment decisions for a sophisticated global technology estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the strategic infrastructure roadmap covering networks, Servers, storage, and cloud platforms aligned to business objectives
• Lead technical architecture review forums, ensuring designs are reviewed, approved, and aligned with enterprise standards
• Provide expert guidance on complex infrastructure challenges and mentor architects across the IT organisation
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate cybersecurity frameworks into infrastructure planning and risk mitigation
• Manage strategic vendor assessments and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities
• Contribute to enterprise architecture budget management, benefits tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements:

• More than 10 years in IT with extensive experience creating strategic roadmaps for core infrastructure technologies
• Proven expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, processes, and governance
• Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and modern infrastructure technologies
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders
• Track record of leading and developing technical teams in enterprise environments
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with business acumen in a highly regulated sector preferred
