Enterprise Architect

My International client based in Brussels is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join the team on a long term contract assignment. A hybrid working model is possible but 1-2 days per week are required on site at the customer offices.

Tasks and Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect

• Create business architecture models that reflect the organization's strategies and goals.
• Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and manage priorities.
• Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and increase business value.
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities.
• Conduct research to find ways to improve operations.
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance.
• Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan.
• Implement the applications based on the architecture.
• Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers.
• Provide advice to policymakers on digital implications of policy proposals.
• Support the units in implementing the corporate data governance and management practices.
• Contribute to the development of the methodological approach for digital-ready policymaking and technology adoption.

What skills and experience are expected for this role ?

• Hold a Master's Degree
• Have at least 15 years of experience in IT overall.
• At least 10 years of expertise in process management, functional analysis, enterprise architecture and data modelling.
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise corporate components of architecture.
• Proven knowledge and practical experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, and Zachman.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN, and similar.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture tools such as ARIS.
• Knowledge of XML and XSD.
• Ability to give business and technical presentations.
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
• Proficiency in English language at a minimum C1 level
