Clinical Nurse Specialist Band 6 - ENT OPD - Haringey Community Clinics. An exciting opportunity has arisen for ENT Clinical Nurse Specialist post at Haringey Community Clinics of the RNENT & EDH Hospitals, University College London Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be independently managing the care of patients in the Nurse-Led Aural Microsuction clinics.

The working hours will be 7.5 (1 day) per week.

We are seeking a person with good communication and organisational skills, competency in performing Aural microsuction skill and whose attitude to changing environments is positive and supportive.

Person Specification Knowledge & Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register
• Teaching course
• ENT course /and or Aural Microsuction
• NVQ assessor

Experience

• Significant relevant ENT clinical experience at Band 5, or existing Band 6, able to manage care of patients in Nurse-Led Aural microsuction clinics.

Communication

• Communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in electronic formats

Personal And People Development

• Demonstrates evidence of professional development in line with KSF, maintains updated Portfolio
• Demonstrates an awareness of the role of preceptor/facilitator
• Reflective in Practice
• Reflective in Practice d. Demonstrates evidence of ability to educate others

Quality
