Clinical Nurse Specialist Band 6 - ENT OPD - Haringey Community Clinics. An exciting opportunity has arisen for ENT Clinical Nurse Specialist post at Haringey Community Clinics of the RNENT & EDH Hospitals, University College London Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be independently managing the care of patients in the Nurse-Led Aural Microsuction clinics.
The working hours will be 7.5 (1 day) per week.
We are seeking a person with good communication and organisational skills, competency in performing Aural microsuction skill and whose attitude to changing environments is positive and supportive.

Person Specification Knowledge & Qualifications- Registered Nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register
- Teaching course
- ENT course /and or Aural Microsuction
- NVQ assessor
- Significant relevant ENT clinical experience at Band 5, or existing Band 6, able to manage care of patients in Nurse-Led Aural microsuction clinics.
- Communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in electronic formats
- Demonstrates evidence of professional development in line with KSF, maintains updated Portfolio
- Demonstrates an awareness of the role of preceptor/facilitator
- Reflective in Practice
- Reflective in Practice d. Demonstrates evidence of ability to educate others
- Demonstrates understanding of principles of Clinical Governance, e.g. Risk Management, audit & quality
- Articulates reasons for desire to work in this clinical areas
- Able to take charge and delegate duties
