The Role:

• Teaching English across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
• Delivering engaging and inspiring English Language and Literature lessons
• Providing continuity and support for a Year 13 English class, therefore experience teaching at KS5 is essential
• Planning, preparing and assessing work in line with curriculum requirements
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Have recent experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
• Demonstrate confidence teaching English up to KS5 level
• Be passionate about raising attainment and fostering a love of English
• Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
