English Teacher (Secondary) - Permanent Role

Reed Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school near Corby to recruit a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2026.

The Role

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan and teach engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Monitor and assess student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies
• Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and whole-school initiatives
• Support students' academic progress as well as their wider development

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience teaching English in a secondary school is essential
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (desirable but not essential)
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of GCSE English Language and Literature
• Ability to deliver engaging lessons and maintain strong behaviour management
• Committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Willing to contribute to the wider school community
