This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students and develop a love for English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach KS5 for the right candidate.

The Role

• Planning and delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations with a focus on strong academic outcomes
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Encouraging reading, creativity and critical thinking
• Contributing to the wider English department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for English
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
• Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
