About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality English teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Assess, track, and report on student progress effectively

• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning

• Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential

• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Degree in English or a related subject

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Ability to motivate and inspire students

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare

• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
