Job Title: English Teacher - Unqualified
Location: 3 Dimensions School, Somerset, TA20 3AJ
Salary: £32,550 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent Term Time Only
Start: January 2026

About the Role
You'll be part of a passionate, supportive team delivering our exciting, inclusive English curriculum - one that connects literature, language, and creativity with art, digital media, and real-life experiences.
Our curriculum is carefully designed to engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring every young person develops confidence in reading, writing, and communication. With smaller class sizes and a nurturing environment, you'll have the freedom to tailor your lessons, spark curiosity, and help learners overcome barriers to success.

What You'll Do
- Deliver creative and inspiring English lessons that bring learning to life
- Plan engaging lessons and activities tailored to individual student needs
- Support pupils to build confidence, independence, and a love of learning
- Track and celebrate student progress - every small step counts
- Collaborate with dedicated staff, therapists, and support professionals
- Foster cross-curricular links with art, media, and life skills
- Contribute to wider school life, including PSHE, assemblies, and whole-school events and projects
Who we are looking for
- A passion for helping young people succeed - both academically and personally
- Knowledge (or willingness to learn) of English curriculum pathways (KS3-4, Functional Skills, or GCSE)
- A caring, resilient, and flexible approach to working with students who may have additional needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
- Creativity, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not essential - full support and training will be provided for the right candidate
- Full UK Driving Licence

You'll work 80% of your contractual hours for 100% of your pay, giving you more time to do the things that make you happy. 4DWW is subject to successful completion of probation and is not a contractual benefit
