About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Lecturer for a temporary position in South London. You will deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons, supporting students to develop their literacy, analytical skills, and confidence in both language and literature.

Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English lessons (GCSE and/or A-Level) Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Support students in developing reading, writing, and analytical skills Differentiate teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff

About You Degree in English or a related subject Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) - desirable Experience teaching English in a school or FE college setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Passionate about engaging and inspiring learners

Desirable: Experience teaching GCSE and/or A-Level English Familiarity with UK curriculum and assessment frameworks Experience supporting learners with additional needs
