English Intervention & Classroom Support - Secondary School (L5, Liverpool)

Milk Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in L5, Liverpool, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to provide additional support within English lessons and deliver targeted English interventions across KS3 and KS4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an English graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced support staff member looking to specialise further within the English curriculum and make a real impact on student progress.

Role:

As an English Intervention & Classroom Support Assistant, you will:

• Support students within English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver targeted English intervention sessions to small groups and individuals.
• Help students develop key literacy skills including reading, writing, and analysis.
• Work closely with the class teacher to support lesson delivery and differentiation.
• Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies.
• Motivate and engage students, helping them to access curriculum content.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong English subject knowledge (essential).
• Experience in a school, tutoring, youth work, or similar setting (desirable).
• Confident communication and classroom management skills.
• A genuine passion for English and supporting young people.
• Proactive, reliable, and professional approach.
