English Graduate Learning Support Assistant

Overview

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic English Graduates to work as Learning Support Assistants across Sunderland schools from September. Whether you're hoping to become an English Teacher, SEN Teacher or Educational Psychologist, this role offers invaluable classroom experience while making a real difference to pupils who need additional support.

Working pattern

• Monday-Friday
• 8:30am-3:30pm to 4:30pm
• Term-time only
• Full-time
• September start

Duties include

• Supporting literacy interventions
• Helping pupils improve reading and writing skills
• Supporting children with SEND
• Working alongside classroom teachers
• Encouraging confidence and participation
• Monitoring pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
