The Role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Support Specialist to join our growing team. This is a key role supporting our engineers by sourcing unique, high-quality components for specialist robotic systems. You will research off-the-shelf solutions, manage suppliers, and ensure compliance with strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with design engineers to understand technical requirements.
Source one-off and low-volume components for electrical, hydraulic, pumping, and industrial vacuum systems.
Research and identify innovative off-the-shelf solutions for complex engineering challenges.
Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and terms.
Ensure all components meet ATEX Zone 0 and relevant compliance standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records and manage delivery timelines.

Essential Criteria

Experience: 3+ years in technical, sourcing or procurement in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and industrial equipment.
Excellent research, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and solve problems creatively.

Desirable

Degree or certification in engineering.
Experience with robotic systems or specialist industrial equipment.
Familiarity with ATEX-rated components and compliance requirements.
