Engineering Project Manager (Automotive)

We are looking for Engineering Project Manager for our team in Barcelona to work in one of the most important Tier 1 in the automotive sector to lead the design and industrialization of the project, ensuring quality, cost, and timing of ongoing projects. They will be the main technical contact with the client and will manage a cross-functional technical team throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Missions:

• Lead the design and industrialization of plastic parts and associated tools (molds, fixtures, validation, etc.).
• Act as the technical point of reference for the client: coordinate meetings, presentations, and the flow of technical information.
• Analyze parts, review geometry, define adjustments, and validate product/process convergence.
• Coordinate the update of CAD drawings with the design leader.
• Manage mold tuning and follow up with mold makers.
• Oversee the validation plan in collaboration with laboratories.
• Participate in KPI management, action plans, monthly reports, and reporting to the Customer Engineering Director.
• Comply with HSE standards throughout all project phases.
• Manage technical meetings with clients and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the design and development of plastic parts for the automotive industry.
• Technical knowledge of standards related to design, molds, injection processes, and part measurement.
• Higher education degree.
• Experience as Engineering Project Manager (+2 years) at automotive sector.
• High level of English and Spanish.
• Location: Near to Barcelona.
