Engineering Project Manager

Role: Engineering Project Manager
Duration: 6-12 months (TBC)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ or PMP. With experience in Manufacturing, Defence, Aerospace and R&D To join our PMO and help deliver exciting projects across our clients portfolio.

Projects will be from the early planning stage through to successful delivery. Duties to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the right quality standards.

Planning and managing projects from start to finish.
Managing scope, budgets, schedules, risks and resources.
Working with engineering, manufacturing, commercial and business development teams.
Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
Supporting bids and contract negotiations by helping define scope, deliverables, costs, resources and risks.
Tracking project progress and producing clear reports for customers and internal teams.
Identifying risks and issues early and putting plans in place to manage them.
Making sure projects follow company processes, governance and regulatory requirements.
Improving project processes, tools and reporting.
Keeping teams focused on priorities and successful delivery.

Experience managing projects from planning through to completion.
Good knowledge of project planning, risk management and project controls.
Experience managing budgets, forecasts and project costs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
The ability to manage several priorities at the same time.
A practical and positive approach to solving problems.
A willingness to improve how things are done.
