What You'll Do

As Engineering Manager Asset Lifecycle Management & Development, you will play a crucial role in shaping Eneco's engineering landscape. You will lead a talented team of SAP Enterprise Asset Management experts and OutSystems engineers, working closely to design and deliver smart, future-proof solutions. Your leadership ensures projects are delivered on time, aligned with Eneco's strategic ambitions, and continuously improving to support the energy transition. This role is an opportunity to make a direct impact on technological direction while contributing to Eneco's mission to become climate neutral by 2035.

You will oversee daily operations, guide strategic initiatives, and ensure engineering excellence across the full lifecycle of asset management solutions:

• Overseeing the Asset Management engineering team's daily operations, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines.
• Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and objectives.
• Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets for successful delivery.
• Driving adoption of best practices in Asset Management, including testing, documentation, and code reviews.
• Facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team, building a culture of innovation and collaboration.

You're a natural leader with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation. You enjoy guiding teams towards excellence while staying hands-on in technology and stakeholder engagement.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams.
• Solid technical background in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (SAP PM/PS); experience with SAP Asset Manager and SAP Field Service Management is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Passion for mentoring and developing others.

You'll be responsible for

• Overseeing the Asset Lifecycle Management engineering team's daily operations, ensuring delivery against project goals and timelines.
• Driving the adoption of best practices in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (SAP PM/PS) and Outsystems development - including code reviews, testing, documentation, and integration.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical roadmaps.
• Managing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to deliver maximum business value.
• Acting as a hands-on leader in the GIS and Asset Management domain - supporting initiatives such as geospatial data modelling, API integration, and proactive maintenance solutions.
• Fostering continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration in your team, helping Eneco stay ahead in asset lifecycle management.

What We Have To Offer

• Gross annual salary between €132.000 and €145.000 Including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role a bonus or collective profit sharing.
