Engineering Manager

Overview

Engineering Manager - Hybrid (2 days per week in the office) - £900 per day inside IR35.

This is a contract position; candidates are expected to be in the office twice a week.

Role

La Fosse has partnered with a leading tech client to recruit an Engineering Manager to lead an established team within a large, multi-technology transformation programme.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in setting technical standards and driving quality across teams. You will be managing a cross functional software engineering team (full stack engineers, DevOps and QA) but also have a strong understanding on how to leverage test automation. They will bring extensive experience managing established engineering teams and a strong understanding of test automation practices.

Key requirements

• Demonstrated technical capability in reviewing and validating strategic solution designs, implementation plans, and test reports
• Strong technical background, ideally working with C# or .NET
• Hands-on experience in Azure or SQL
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Extensive experience leading and managing teams of engineers and QA testers
• Experience building test automation across multiple levels, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Proven ability to establish and scale automated testing frameworks and best practices across projects

Contract details

This is an initial 6 month contract + 2 stage interview process.
