The role

As an Engineering Manager, you will support Babcock's Shipbuilding Lines of Business, particularly the Arrowhead 140 Meicznik Programme.

You will be responsible for the systems and functions within your projects, ensuring the technical solutions meet customer requirements and managing technical risks. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring design and supplier equipment meet contract requirements
• Managing stakeholders to deliver outputs according to project plans and quality standards
• Managing technical change and risks
• Reviewing technical development and resolving issues

This full-time role is 37 hours per week, adaptable, and can be based in Bristol, Devonport, or Rosyth. Initially, the role is based in Poland for 9-12 months.

Essential experience

• Proven naval surface ships shipbuilding knowledge and experience
• Flexibility and cultural awareness when managing international clients

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer, Engineering degree, or comparable qualification
• APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent

Security Clearance
