Engineering Manager - Irish SaaS company Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead global product development teams and drive excellence across the full software development lifecycle. This is a hands on leadership role combining technical expertise, team mentorship, and delivery ownership to build high quality, scalable software products.

You will be leading engineering teams across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), driving Agile best practices to deliver high quality products and strong customer experiences. You will contribute hands on to architecture, coding, and troubleshooting, while enforcing engineering standards and driving automation and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with cross functional teams, mentor engineers, manage technical risks, and oversee deployments, system performance, and incident resolution to ensure reliable and scalable solutions. Preferred qualifications: experience in SaaS or financial services environments; prior experience in an architectural role is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in software/product development, including leadership experience
• Strong Java full stack development background in a product-based environment
• Proven expertise in system design, architecture, code reviews, and troubleshooting
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex challenges
• Hands on mindset with the ability to balance leadership and technical contributions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Adaptable, proactive, and growth oriented mindset
