Technimove Engineering Lead Job Description

Technimove is seeking an Engineering Lead to serve as the most senior engineering resource. The role involves consulting, designing, planning, and implementing highly complex relocation and migration projects. The successful candidate will also manage a large field engineering team.

The role requires close collaboration with other technical teams, especially professional services, projects, and programs. The Engineering Lead will act as a mentor in core skills, serve as a focal point for the team, conduct peer reviews regularly, and ensure high standards across the team.

Additionally, the Engineering Lead will support the Sales and Pre-Sales teams by providing technical expertise necessary to close sales opportunities. This includes delivering technical presentations, preparing proposals, bid response documentation, Statements of Work, migration plans, and other relevant documentation.

Required Certifications

• Two or more CCNA certifications (Enterprise, Data Center, Security, Wireless, or Collaboration preferred) or equivalent vendor qualifications in Compute, Storage, or Virtualisation technologies.
• Fortinet NSE1-4 or higher.
• Six Sigma Green Belt.

Required Experience

• Experience managing engineering projects, obtaining vendor certifications, and technical training in core and related skills (multi-skilled). Experience in vendor relationships, industry awareness, and participation in trade/vendor events.
• Proven skills in team management, budget management, organization, reporting, governance, and effective communication.
