Position Overview: The Engineering Group Lead is responsible for implementing continuous improvement, supporting capacity expansion, and ensuring smooth operation of production lines with a focus on quality, uptime, and waste reduction through established quality programs and advanced tools.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading engineering teams to achieve continuous improvement and capacity goals.
• Managing project schedules, budgets, and resolving issues.
• Supporting budget estimates for new projects and retooling.
• Participating in engineering activities and collaborating with suppliers on new model programs.
• Driving waste reduction initiatives and process improvements.
• Ensuring processes meet PPAP requirements at 85% OPE.
• Leading Kaizen projects and presenting to leadership.
• Training and supporting deployment of sophisticated problem-solving tools.
• Providing troubleshooting support to enhance equipment effectiveness.
• Maintaining process documentation and overseeing spare parts management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical).
• 3-5 years of relevant engineering and supervisory experience.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel 20-40%.
• Valid driver's license required.
