Location and Compensation

Location: Fully onsite 5 days a week at Customer Location in Suffolk.

Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits.

Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

Join Our Team

Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, supporting businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it directly with our customers.

What You'll Do

You will work in a small, skilled team of Network Engineers in a fast-paced, evolving environment, focusing on delivering reliable LAN and WLAN solutions using a range of products from data vendors and Vodafone for one of our largest Enterprise and Global customers.

  • Plan, design, and implement network solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead technical delivery of customer network projects.
  • Ensure compliance with Change Control and other mandatory processes.
  • Assess risks and produce H&S compliant documentation (RAMs and Point of Works Risk Assessments).
  • Undertake hands-on build activities to stage, commission, and install new network equipment.
  • Create network documentation for customer sites and solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and provide updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate third-party suppliers.
  • Support pre-sales technical activities.
  • Keep technical knowledge current and recommend updates to customer standards.
  • Collaborate positively with team members to achieve organizational goals.
Who You Are

You will:

  • Have experience configuring and implementing Cisco and Meraki LAN and WLAN solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Possess extensive field experience, including cabling and installing networking equipment.
  • Be self-motivated, capable of building strong customer relationships and working in a team.
  • Hold or be able to obtain full SC Security Clearance.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in construction environments (including CCNSG Certification) is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP (practical and theoretical experience)
