Salary Admin Clerk Role Engineering Administrator Location: Ashford Depot Department: Engineering Contract: Part Time (20hours) , Permanent Salary: £14.76 per hour

Join Our Engineering Team Stagecoach is one of the UK's leading public transport providers, operating a modern fleet of buses and coaches across the country. We are currently seeking an organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to support our busy Engineering Department and help ensure the efficient operation of our maintenance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and available for service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Engineering Management Team.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and vehicle records in company systems.
• Process defect reports, repair documentation, and engineering paperwork.
• Manage engineering compliance records and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate servicing schedules and monitor maintenance deadlines.
• Produce reports and performance data as required.
• Liaise with engineers, drivers, and management teams.
• File, archive, and maintain engineering documentation in line with company procedures.
• Support audits and compliance activities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous administrative experience, preferably within an engineering, maintenance, or transport environment.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with maintenance management systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
