We are a leading organization providing cutting-edge solutions and services in satellite navigation (EGNOS/GNSS) and space surveillance. Join a team shaping the future of satellite-based services, ensuring user support and operational excellence across Europe and beyond.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an EGNOS Expert to take on the role of Helpdesk & User Interface Specialist, focusing primarily on operational support and service delivery within the EGNOS program. The selected candidate will be instrumental in supporting and evolving user interaction platforms, helpdesk systems, and performance monitoring tools. This role demands a strong background in EGNOS services, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to interface with a wide range of stakeholders, from technical teams to end users.

Key Responsibilities:

EGNOS Operations & User Support:

  • Act as a key technical focal point for all matters related to EGNOS services within the helpdesk team.
  • Provide expert-level support to users of EGNOS services, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and consistent follow-up.
  • Interface directly with GSC and GSMC, ensuring alignment between user support, service availability, and system operations.

Helpdesk Operations Management:

  • Oversee and manage the helpdesk for SST and GSC, ensuring that both EGNOS- and SST-related issues are handled efficiently.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for EGNOS and SST users, particularly during high-priority or operationally critical events.

Development of Tools & Processes:

  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of helpdesk systems (e.g., ticketing, incident tracking) and user interfaces such as the EU GNSS Portal.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements that simplify support workflows and improve user satisfaction.

Real-Time Taskforce Support:

  • Support coordination efforts during real-time operational events, both SST and GNSS-related, ensuring streamlined communication and action tracking.

KPI Monitoring & Service Performance:

  • Develop and maintain tools for monitoring EGNOS and SST service performance.
  • Produce regular KPI reports, identifying trends and proposing improvements to service levels.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with EGNOS systems and services (mandatory).
  • Solid knowledge of the EGNOS operational architecture, service provision mechanisms, and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with GNSS and SST systems, particularly in a service-oriented or operations support environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to coordinate with international stakeholders and end users.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset; capable of identifying service issues and proposing innovative, technical solutions.
  • Experience with helpdesk systems and user-facing portals is highly desirable.
  • What We Offer:

    • A competitive salary (up to 65K€ gross per year, depending on experience).
    • A unique opportunity to contribute directly to the success of Europe's flagship GNSS program.
    • Exposure to cutting-edge space technologies and interfaces.
    • A collaborative and mission-driven work environment with room for growth and specialization.

If you're a problem-solver with a passion for technical support and user experience, and want to contribute to the advancement of space and satellite services, we want to hear from you!
