Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Support a safe working environment by complying with all pertinent environmental health and safety practices, rules and regulations.
  • Own equipment and systems in a GMP regulated manufacturing setting.
  • Monitor day to day performance of assigned systems.
  • Conduct data trend analysis of all performance aspects to proactively manage performance trends.
  • Update and communicate with the operations team in a responsive manner to keep them informed on all engineering activities, investigations, and loss reports.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in equipment and processes and provide preventative maintenance support to technicians for regular activities.
  • Support system improvements, including development of detailed specifications, engineering documents, and standard operating procedures.
  • Create and maintain a structured, target driven annual maintenance schedule aligned with the manufacturing schedule to minimise downtime.
  • Plan long term vendor support on site and procure major spare part assemblies well in advance.
  • Lead technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and after action reviews for manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate within the Process Teams structure, contributing to investigations, non conformance, and CAPA closure.
  • Maintain a critical spare parts list for systems and ensure appropriate spare levels are kept.
  • Adapt to and assume responsibility for equipment outside immediate responsibility when resources are stretched.
  • Support new product or technology introductions by performing engineering assessments, implementing system changes, and supporting engineering runs.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Chemical preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing experience in medical device or pharmaceutical inspection or packaging.
  • Solid leadership, technical writing, and communication/presentation skills.
  • Experience in change control, non conformance, corrective and preventative actions, and validation practices.
  • Ability to influence the development of business area strategy and engineering/equipment strategy where appropriate.
  • Day to day vendor management and contract negotiations with a focus on equipment suppliers.
  • Independent, self motivated, organized, and able to multi task in a production environment.
  • Team player ready to work in and embrace a team based culture that relies on collaboration and supports other areas to meet business requirements.

Salary Range: 55,960.60 EUR - 75,711.40 EUR
