Engagement Lead - IT Sourcing & Vendor Management Background. - Regular onsite requirement in West London

We are looking for an experienced Client Engagement Lead with a strong IT sourcing and vendor management background to lead complex consulting engagements and support the growth of client accounts within a digital and IT transformation consultancy.

This role combines hands-on delivery, senior stakeholder engagement, and commercial account growth, working closely with client leadership teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.

The Role
You will take ownership of client engagements from discovery through delivery, acting as a trusted advisor while ensuring programmes are delivered to time, quality and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading IT sourcing initiatives, from supplier renegotiation through to full RFPs
• Managing and engaging with tier-1 system integrators and offshore vendors
• Delivering consulting-led transformation programmes across IT and digital functions
• Supporting operating model, service integration and service management initiatives
• Managing senior stakeholders and guiding clients through complex decision-making
• Growing existing client accounts through high-quality delivery and trusted relationships
• Contributing to wider business development and account strategy

Key Attributes (in Priority Order)

• Strong IT sourcing and vendor management experience
• Proven consulting and programme delivery experience, particularly within transformation
• Demonstrable track record of growing client accounts and revenue
• Able to travel regularly to a West London client site.

Essential Experience & Skills

• 10+ years experience in consulting or advisory roles
• Deep experience leading IT sourcing activities and supplier negotiations
• Strong background in IT vendor management, including complex supplier ecosystems
• Experience delivering digital change and IT transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of modern service management practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable working independently and leading teams
